Marissa Moultrie
FOUNDER & CEO
Marissa Moultrie is the Founder & CEO of Manhattan Grant Writers. She received her Bachelor of Music in Voice and Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Pacific Lutheran University and her Master of Music degree from The New School, Mannes School of Music in New York City.
Marissa founded MGW after dreaming of a solution to the "one size fits all" approach to grant writing and fundraising. She is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher with YogaAlliance and balances her work at Manhattan Grant Writers with an active performance career in opera and theatre, which you can follow here.
In addition to regularly working with clients, Marissa is a strategic consultant for all clients at MGW, assisting with logistics and project management. She prides herself on timely and regular communication, strong organizational skills, and a fervent attention to detail. She is also well-acquainted with grantee portals, nonprofit pre-qualification, and any logistical grant writing tasks clients often seek help with.
When she is not singing, writing, or practicing yoga, she is an avid reader, NYC history buff, and dog-sitter. She lives and works on Manhattan's Lower East Side.
