City Lyric Opera

City Lyric Opera is a female-founded and led opera company founded in NYC in 2017. During the first 4 years of their existence, they had gone from an annual operating budget of just $7,000.00 to $70,000.00 on their own but knew that they needed to start receiving grant funding to continue their momentum.

Doubling the operating budget…

When we first started working with CLO, we began developing their entire development plan from scratch, working with existing connections and putting together plans for new donor relations to foster additional growth and success. Despite the pandemic, they were able to double their operating budget after hiring a grant writer after just 6 months.
